Description

The Long Haul are a five-piece band based in Brighton, and play a mix of classic country and modern Americana. They recently appeared at the inaugural British Country Music Festival in Blackpool and played Country 2 Country at London?s 02. The album combines the classic country sound of pedal-steel guitar, Fender Telecaster and upright bass with a sharp lyrical take on different aspects of life in the 21st century.

The band recently filmed a video at Bob Harris?s Under the Apple Tree studio to accompany the release, and double-bass player Scott Warman was one of the musicians asked by legendary BBC presenter Bob to appear on his recent charity release of Stand By Me, alongside a host of world-famous artists, including Mark Knopfler, Duane Eddy, Rick Wakeman, the Shires and Peter Frampton. www.longhaulband.com

Luke Tuchscherer is an acclaimed singer/songwriter from Bedford. His introduction to the UK Americana scene came via the highly regarded alt.country band The Whybirds, with whom Luke sang and played drums. In 2011 he went into the studio to start on what would become his debut solo record. Named 'You Get So Alone At Times That It Just Makes Sense'. Upon release, the record garnered universal critical acclaim. It was voted second best album of the year in Americana UK's reader's poll. In 2017 he
signed a record deal with Clubhouse Records. In 2019 he released his 4th album in five years - the solo acoustic album 'Carousel' on Clubhouse. As well as Dylan and Springsteen, Luke says Neil Young, Townes Van Zandt and Elliot Smith informed the new album. www.luketuchscherer.co.uk
