Spinout Productions presents ''A Spinout Explosion'', on Friday 15th April 2022. Promising to be a night of musical pleasure, it'll be a musical journey with bands and DJ's playing from 19.00 till 01.00, at the Royal Function Rooms, Rochester.
On this very special occasion, we are absolutely delighted to have Graham Day and the Gaolers headline our Spinout Explosion gig with very special guests supporting in The Len Price 3 and The High Span with Boogaloo Revue DJ Chris Moogaloo, Dave and Lee from Spinout and Rob Flood spinning tunes before, in between and after the bands.
Graham Day and the Gaolers - formed in 2007, with Graham Day on vocals and guitar, Johnny Barker on bass and Dan Elektro on drums, these legends need no introduction, with all being in bands past and present including but not limited to, The Prisoners, The Prime Movers, The Solar Flares, The Senior Service, The Woggles, The Mighty Caesars, The Buff Medway and The Daggermen, expect tuneful songs driven with an energy and attitude along with passion. This gig is even more special as Dan Elektro lives out in the States mixed with the last two years of a pandemic, this gig is going to be a very special one.
The Len Price 3 - are a garage pop band hailing from the Medway Towns with Glenn Page on vocals and guitar, Steve Huggins on bass and Neil Fromow on drums. These lads do truly perform a memorable and energetic gig with the great Medway tradition of fusing driving energy, catchy hooks and 60s garage sound. Formed in 2004, these lads are an adrenaline pumped band, encompassing all of what you would want from a band with their dazzling live performances with their well honed melodic nuggets played at breakneck speed.
The High Span - is a new project based in Rochester, Kent and features three experienced, yet amazingly unjaded, musical souls in Kevin Younger (of Armitage Shanks, Ye Ascoyne d?Ascoynes, Subway Sect, Baby Birkin, The Speed of Sound and others), Mark Aitken (of Ye Ascoyne d?Ascoynes, Bob Collins & The Full Nelson, These Guilty Men and others) and Jimmy Moore (of revered Canadian alt-rockers Rusty, One Free Fall and others). The High Span?s special blend is one of DIY post-pop jangle and edgier experimental sounds, of uncynical guitar-pop and suburban English awkwardness. It?s a peculiar taste, but one worth acquiring.
Supporting these three legends of the music scene are Boogaloo Revues Chris Moogaloo, local legend Rob Flood and Spinout fellas Dave and Lee Grimshaw who will be spinning tunes before and in between the bands then setting the dance floor on fire after the bands have finished for your dancing feet.
Hope to see you all there
