Six new short films exploring the youth experience from different perspectives.
From a young teen suffering from eco-anxiety, to a father and son dealing with financial turmoil in coastal Wales. Can a mother and daughter re-connect in rural Portugal and will a chance encounter put Kim on a new path. Three classmates face a life or death decision, and the peaceful life of an introverted French Guyanese teenager, gets complicated when he falls in love.
Summer of Bees:
Eedi, suffering from eco-anxiety, decides to start beekeeping with the help of their mother Anne who, rather than fearing for the future, is scared of every single little bee.
Salt Water Town:
Liam helps run a failing caravan park with his father, Glenn, who clings to the belief that prosperity will soon return.
Garças:
In a very hot summer in the middle of Portugal, a girl is dealing with her recent nose operation, while her mother's lack of attention seems to give her more pain.
Scuzz:
When Lee's guitar is stolen, Kim feels responsible and gives chase. Racing past bustling traffic, clubbers and neon-bathed nightlife, the pursued and pursuer eventually come to a head.
