THE GRASSHOPPERS SLEEP HERE (ENVIRONMENTAL SHORTS) 12+

A selection of thought-provoking films that examines our relationship with the world around us and how our actions directly impact the planet. The package includes documentaries, animations and live-action shorts.

The Plastic Turtle:
A turtle lives peacefully at the bottom of the sea, until an apparatus accident forces him to fight to survive and undergo the physical and environmental changes that human unconsciousness has produced.

The Land of Griffons:
The Land of Griffons tells the story of the last Italian colony of griffon vultures (Gyps fulvus) and the efforts of the conservation project "Life Under Griffon Wings" fighting for their survival.

Perpetual Plastic:
Millions of single use plastics are discarded every day across the globe. What happens then?

Critical Line-Pollution:
A shipwreck, a desert island, the ocean, and thousands of cartoons to laugh about the modern world.

The Grasshoppers Sleep Here:
A grass-cutters work is interrupted by a sleeping girl.

Footsteps on the Wind:
The plight of Noor and her little brother, Josef as they journey far away from home, orphaned from a devastating earthquake.

Sea Dragon:
A young fossil hunter makes a groundbreaking discovery, challenging the worldview of 19th century England.
