Hi all, cost & info below, A fascinating 4.5 mile Urban walk of Whitechapel, Bethnal Green and Spitalfields. Amazing highlights include a beautiful city farm inclusive of donkeys, sheep, baby rabbits and amazing setting, incredible street art, the site of where the gentleman Joesph Merrick known as the 'Elephant Man' was on display in a freak show depicted in the Hollywood film and play, the place he died at only 27, the blind beggar pub where the Krays killed George Cornell in front of pub-goers, where 170 civilians perished in UK's largest single loss of civilian life during World War II and also the Bell Foundry the original manufacturer of the re-casting of the famous Big Ben and also the Liberty Bell, a famous symbol of American Independence, plus some hidden gems along the way!

Starts at Liverpool Street Mainline Rail Station and ends at Whitechapel Station. Please meet Kevin (either wearing a meetup baseball cap or Edwardian Hat) outside the front of Liverpool Street Mainline Rail Station by the 'Kindertransport Statue' which sits outside the front of the station, directly opposite Liverpool Street underground station and Vodafone and Costa Pronto shops. Please note: NOT the entrance nearby the Wetherspoons Pub 'Hamilton Hall'

If you require toilets before you meet the group, they are located downstairs of the station by Camden Food Co

PLEASE ensure ARRIVAL at least 15 minutes BEFORE the start of the walk, sorry no latecomers accepted for whatever reason.

Members attend the unique walks from our different meetup groups.

IF LATE, SORRY WE ARE UNABLE TO RECEIVE CALLS OR ANSWER EMAILS AS WELCOMING MEMBERS, LEADING THE WALK, AND CONCENTRATING ON THE SAFETY OF THE GROUP. PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CATCH THE GROUP UP, PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.

Please note: Some events, being a large attended meetup group it will be an organised walk only, but members are very welcome to organise their own get-togethers after the event.

You are required to be fit, healthy, appropriate footwear & clothing, responsible for meeting at the correct location and your own safety. Please bring water and some snacks.

The organiser is not responsible for any circumstances that may affect the group, such as personal accidents, rail delays, cancellations, engineering works, heavy traffic, tours affected, weather, walk paths or routes closed, postcodes for car parks or for when we arrive back at the station, or anything else not mentioned!
