After playing as a sideman for many years in bands such as Matt Carmichael Quartet and Planck Walker, 22-year-old bass player Ali Watson has decided to bring his own original project to the table.
With influences from contemporary jazz, Scottish folk, and 20th century impressionist classical music, the band quietly transcends traditional genres to produce a set of often complex yet accessible music. With intricate yet lyrical melodies and thoughtful improvisations, this is an ensemble not to be missed for both the avid jazz fan and casual listener alike!
Ali Watson - Double Bass
Tom Potter - Drums
Toby Comeau - Piano
Dom Ingham - Violin
