? Freear (Slamboree) ?
Freear is the founder, producer and DJ of immersive festival favourites ?Slamboree? and is renowned for being consistently left-field, innovative and fresh with his ideas and creations. The last few years have seen Mike go from strength to strength receiving worldwide acclaim for the rip-roaring success of Slamboree, a full documentary about his project featured on the BBC, winning awards for ?Best Live Act? & ?Best Remix? at the International Breakspoll Awards alongside nominations for ?Best Breakthrough DJ and ?Best Small Event? for his fundraiser events.

? STIRZ SHAker ?
ft. Gramski, Miss MESTA & Tyscha
STIRZ SHAKER is a brand new adventure for your ears, This live band comprised of four already prolific independent artists constructed by none other than Charlie STIRZ fresh from headline festival collective Slamboree, transports you from the departure lounge to the dance floor via a private jet full of bass smothered electro, freestyle Hip-Hop and drum and bass that will leave you smiling, sweating and eager to find out when the next gig is. Featuring Brighton?s King of live freestyle - Gramski, Devon?s Queen of Rhyme - MissMesta, and the Tantalising, soulful vocals of Tyscha straight from Holland, The SHAKer show is heaped in technological wonder and vibing throughout.

? LoVeDoGz ?
LoVeDoGz are an exhilarating, raw, captivating band! They play out a multi genre of styles from punk, ska, rock n roll and metal!
Front man Pete Bennett?s stage presence is fueled with passion and energy that has the reminiscence of Keith Flint. His vocals are a force to be reckoned with and his range is phenomenal.

Pete Bennett first shot to fame bursting onto our screens on Big Brother 7 where he won over the nation's hearts and was titled champion!
In 2001 Pete moved from London to Brighton to study music where he quickly earned his reputation as a local legend and extrovert personality. Pete fronted the band Pete Bennett and the Lovedogs which got him a number 1 in Ireland with Cosmonaut.

LoVeDoGz are back after a decade (with a bit of tweaking) and are about to propel themselves into 2022 touring the country and playing out festivals! They will also be recording their debut album.

? DJM ?
Legendary multi-genre ninja-turntablist hailing from Leeds. He is easily up there with the best scratch DJ's I've witnessed on the wheels of steel and his skills will leave you mesmerised.

? Lsd-Licious ?

? Tom Dole & The Benefits ?

? Lori Asha ?
Lori-Asha is a 22 year old Skindian warrior. Born of Indian elegance and raised with Scottish faculty. A lioness with a sturdy soul and an aspirational heart. The fire of her imagination and the desire to discover what lies within the Musical Realm incites a powerful and eclectic style that conjures up times when HipHop was Dope, Jazz was Fly and Sisters had Soul. Lori-Asha is an innovative and collaborative rebel who in the face of adversity has stepped up and driven forward as a solid and autonomous artist. Singer, Song Writer, Guitarist and Producer Lori-Asha establishes folk and fairy tales alike set in a dystopian metropolis with a striking, captivating and refreshing narrative that rewards the listener with genuine emotion. As cultured and technical as she is, Lori-Asha remains modest and states that her most desirable quality is sharing beloved influence Erykah Badu?s birthday. One to watch and listen out for as the story unfolds.

Pub & Live Music Venue

The Brunswick Profile Pic

Description

The Brunswick has been transformed through an extensive refurbishment programme to become the premier music and arts venue in Hove. The owners are committed to providing quality, value for money and a friendly atmosphere. We believe that a pub is an essential part of any thriving community, and should be seen as a facility for the whole community. By encouraging local groups, we run a range of classes: acting, singing, painting, language, wine tasting; and have become a meeting place for a number of groups. With a large garden and a number of meeting rooms, we can offer space for most clubs, societies or social groups. If your looking for somewhere to host your book group, yoga class, dance class, debating club, and so on, give us a call, or better still, pop in. Support your local pub.

Built in the 1930’s, The Brunswick is a striking building with curved bays, turret roofs and brass crittall style windows. Much of the original paneling (the same as used in the Orient Express) has been rescued and restored, particularly in The Venue. Atmosphere and mood change as you move from the beautifully constructed sunny garden through the airy garden room to the bar (a fusion of the best of modern bar and traditional pub). Despite the high-tech sound and stage equipment, the music and arts Venue with its wood paneling, period lighting and fireplace retains a wonderfully cozy feel. Upstairs we have beautifully decorated rooms for meetings and private parties – see Function Room Hire

We offer a broad range of home cooked food every day. Accolades have included “Restaurant quality food at pub prices”; “The best Sunday Lunch in Brighton”; “As an American, I’m very critical of hamburgers – this is one of the best I’ve had anywhere.”
