The first issue of SCree has flown out of the printer and landed on this specific square mile of planet earth, which we think is cause for celebration, mirth, and merriment. And as such, there?s an array of bands playing a variety of different sounds for your entertainment and astonishment.

Comedian Gareth Postans will be in the house and your compere for the evening, providing sparkling banter and a good few laughs.

SCree?s very own Marc Reeves will be providing a shimmering smorgasbord of shoegaze sounds, with improvised vocals from Om thrown into the musical Nutri bullet.

Omnivibes promise to astound, beguile, and mystify with their unique approach to traditional Indian instrumentation. Omnivibes is the moniker of Paul Jackson, a virtuoso on the sitar. His music can be somewhat mesmerising, and will transport you to another dimension, perhaps literally.

Dan Jay is your man behind the DJ booth, playing a sweltering array of alternative anthems, indie bangers, esoteric electronica, and hidden gems.

There will also be an art market with stalls from Desk Publishing, killustrator Russell Taysom, and more tbc.

Last but by any means not least, SCreeZine is being handed out like subcultural mana from heaven.
