Join Hetain Patel in our historic Education room for a relaxing, creative workshop as part of our Meeting Point programme. Help him to create his final artwork by twisting homemade yarn onto mesh structures and watching the portraits of forgotten workers come to life. Hear more about Hetain?s creative process and how his installation fits into the life of the mill as you enjoy a cup of tea with us.

This workshop is free to attend but places are limited so please book a ticket for one of the sessions:
10.30-11.30am
1-2pm
2.30-3.30pm

Please be aware this activity largely consists of weaving fabric with your fingers. No prior experience is needed, just a bit of patience! Hetain will teach you all the skills you need. Recommended for ages 12+. Refreshments will be provided.

We will be taking photos and video of the workshops to use as part of the project but if you would rather not feature in any footage, please let us know upon arrival at the workshop.
