Son Yambu play authentic Cuban son, the intoxicating fusion of Spanish and African rhythms that gave rise to salsa.
They give this irresistible music a contemporary edge, bringing their audiences a truly, sensational, authentic Latin music experience.
Son Yambu are a UK based band who play authentic Cuban son - the essential Afro-Cuban sound that originated in the streets of eastern Cuba at the turn of the last century and later gave rise to modern salsa.
Most of the band members hail from Cuba. Each has a lifetime?s worth of experience in playing son Cubano and are all passionate about maintaining the traditions of the genre.
Playing their irresistible tropical rhythms, Son Yambu bring their audiences a truly sensational, authentic Latin-music experience and their music is guaranteed to turn any event into a fiesta!
