STEEVI JAIMZ - original voice from TIGERTAILZ performing 35th anniversary
Jaimz has announced that he will be celebrating a live show focusing on the 35th Anniversary of the Tigertailz debut ?Young and Crazy.?
?Young and Crazy? was first released on Music For Nations in the U.K. and on Combat / Relativity Records in the U.S. in 1987.
The English born glam singer who has a cult following, tells fans he will perform the release in its entirety for the first time ever.
?I?ve been dreaming of doing a show like this for the past year,? says Jaimz.
Jaimz fronted Tigertailz from 1984-1988 but had a much publicized falling out with the group which saw him going solo and releasing a fistful of solo records over the years.
The show is set for Saturday October 15th 2022 at the ?229 Club? in London England.
35 years after the release of Tigertailz? seminal debut album Young and Crazy, the band?s original frontman, Steevi Jaimz, will perform the album in full for the first time ever.
?I?ve been dreaming of doing a show like this for the past year,? says Jaimz. ?It?s the 35th anniversary of this special record ? now is the perfect time to honour Young and Crazy.?
The album, which includes the anthems ?Livin? Without You? and ?Shoot to Kill?, was responsible for bringing the British Glam-punks to global attention. Jaimz will be joined by legendary drummer Robin Guy (Sham 69, Rachel Stamp, Bruce Dickinson), in-demand bassist Rob Lane (Bulletboys, Jetboy, Ryan Roxie), and Glam Guitar God Kai (Esprit D?Air).
Since leaving Tigertailz, Jaimz has toured across Europe, rocked festivals and released the albums Damned If I Do? Damned If I Don?t, My Private Hell and Time Machine.
This concert will mark his return to the stage in over ten years; speaking of taking to the stage again, Jaimz exclaimed: ?This has been a long time coming and I?m super-energized and excited to give the Fans an unforgettable experience ? some of these songs have never been played live. I can?t wait!?
