Description

HOT VOX Presents: GULZ + Support from Two Weeks In Nashville // The Rotanas

The Grace. London. The unrelenting force of GULZ takes on yet another of London?s iconic venues. Graced (pun intended) by the likes of the Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Pulp and the RHCP; the unlikely yet unstoppable force of GULZ are hoping to put on a show to rival the aforementioned alumni- at least before the club night opens up and the DJ drops, ?God?s Plan? by Drake, and everyone loses their minds; completely overshadowing our efforts and body of work.
Bring your mates, bring your girlfriend, bring your boyfriend, bring your ex, bring your rents, bring your old violin teacher, bring your religious community leader, bring your dog (**check venue animal regulations first**), and of course; bring yourselves.

Expect the usual cocktail of: major chords, plastic pint cups, guitar-occupied boogying, and of course: chaos. Be there or be somewhere far, far more boring. See you soon.

GULZ
https://hotvox.co.uk/artist/gulz/

GULZ started as a one man bedroom project of a singer-songwriter/producer from Newcastle Upon Tyne, and has since evolved into an irresistible four-piece that can?t stop selling out shows across London and the North East. Proud residents of pirate studios in Camden, the band have spent the last year fine-tuning their sound. It?s loud, it?s rough round the edges, but it?s sweet.

The boys have racked up regular spins from Amazing Radio, London?s ?Hoxton?, ?Shoreditch? and ?Soho? radio as well as ?BBC Introducing?.

Press features have seen the band begin to make a name for themselves with edits in ?Vibez magazine?, ?NEVolume Magazine?, ?Alternative Fix?, ?IT?SALLINDIE?, ?RockNBold? and ?Totally Wired Magazine?. DJ and Radio Presenter Charlie Ashcroft has featured GULZ?s tunes on his infamous ?Fresh Finds? Spotify Playlist, with GULZ?s latest release leading to a full interview on BBC Radio. With a string of shows lined up in London and beyond,  following a *sell-out-run-to-date*, the boys are confident they can give you a very good show- or at the very least a decent night out?

Expect chaos, laughter, major chords, plastic pint cups, and riff-based- boogies .

Plus Support From

Two Weeks In Nashville
https://hotvox.co.uk/artist/two-weeks-in-nashville/

After discovering their sound & identity whilst on a writing trip to Nashville, TWIN conceived their name in tribute to the music capital of the world.

Consisting of three mates that came together through love for their shared rock heroes, Billy, Marc and Ian have enjoyed significant growth over the past 12 months. They?ve picked up support from Wonderland Magazine, BBC Introducing, MTV Rocks and amassed over 5M video views across their fast-growing social platforms. They?re showing no signs of stopping.

Becoming best known for their raucous and electric live shows, TWIN have headlined grassroot venues across the UK, alongside support slots with The Hoosiers & Toploader.

The Rotanas
https://hotvox.co.uk/artist/the-rotanas/
?Anthemic Britpop sounds.? - Radio X
?This band are just ticking all the boxes for me, and what a name! A great Welsh band.? - Gordon Smart, Radio X
?This band have so much energy! So good, we love The Rotanas here!? - Janice Long, BBC Radio Wales
Forming in May 2017, and quickly establishing a solid reputation in their local scene fornoise and attitude, now bigger and better than ever, The Rotanas have a unique sound and presence about them.
?I don?t know if we are a horrible mess of beautiful things or a beautiful mess of horrible things, but we work? - Frontman Leggy on the band.
The Rotanas have received airplay on BBC Radio all around the country and across various other radio stations such as Radio X and Sirius XM. Having sold out shows in Cardiff?s iconic Clwb Ifor Bach, sharing stages with Black Grape, Peter Doherty, Kyle Falconer of The View and The Fratellis, and playing the Isle of Wight Festival, they are just getting started.
Their latest release Hurry Up, The Hole?s About to Close is a bold step into their new soundscape, taking influence from early 90s Verve & Blur, BJM, Slowdive, and of course, the other greats.
The Rotanas headed back into the studio in April this year to record an EP, due out Autumn 2022, with Nick Brine (Oasis, The Stone Roses, The Verve) and Jon Constantine (Public Service Broadcasting, Tom Odell).
