Join Learning Officer Vikki Phillips on a family friendly tour of Southampton's Old Town to find the lesser known stories of survival in WW2! Hear stories of daring rescues, visit some of the underground Air Raid shelters and hear about what Sotonians of the 1940s went through.
Please bring torches as some shelters do not have lighting.
This tour is designed to be suitable for all ages and will be tailored to the interests of the group. Pushchairs can not be accommodated in the air raid shelters.
This tour will happen twice, at 11am and 2pm and will last about 90 minutes.
Why not make a day of it and book onto our 'Spies & Ciphers' family workshops that are also happening at Tudor House this day?!
In the unlikely event of our having to cancel a session, we will offer a full refund. Unfortunately tickets are otherwise non-refundable. Please contact us if you wish to transfer your ticket to a friend if you cannot attend for any reason.
