Robb?s widely recognised as one of the UK?s finest songwriters. ?An English original?, (Robin Denselow, the Guardian) ... ?one of our best singer-songwriters ever? (Mike Harding)? ?one of this country?s most important songwriters (no argument!)? (fROOTS).

Last year Robb released the vinyl-only album Minimum Wages, 9 songs performed on acoustic guitar, with guest appearances from Boff Whalley, Fae Simon & John Forrester on vocals, Jude Abbott on brass, Jason Pegg on accordion & Jenny Carr on piano.

The album was very well-received; Folk Radio UK named it as one of their top 10 albums of the year, & Ian Anderson said it would have been one of Podwireless?s CDs of the year ? if it had been on CD. In October 2022 the album has its CD release, as part of a double album with Bodger: My Part In His Downfall, a collection of songs chronicling the events of the last three years.

There will be an ongoing nationwide solo acoustic ?Minimum Wages? tour throughout the rest of the year & the following spring.

The Slaughtered Lamb, simple British cuisine: Fish and Chips, Sliders and Salads are the order of the day.
We have at least 11 draught beers plus ales and scored of craft beers in the fridges. Downstairs, our basement bar has events and parties every night.

During the week, we play host some of the finest folk musicians the world over. At the weekends we like to party with our DJs, the night and yourselves.
