Description

Paul Thompson is a singer-songwriter, music producer, and author based in Norfolk, England. Paul wrote the songs for ?Lost in the Land of Midnight Sun? after an epic tour, around Alaska and Canada. Inspired by a love of wild places, Paul spent a magical three months travelling and playing gigs in mountain towns and island communities, surviving a tsunami scare on the western Alaskan coast, and avoiding one or two over-enthusiastic bears for good measure!

Paul gained a Guinness World Record for the 'longest journey by milk float' after touring more than 1,000 miles at 15mph in a specially converted electric milk float 'Bluebell', that Paul used as his tour bus and outdoor music stage. During the Arts Council England funded 'Floating to the Fringe Tour' promoting his album ?Lost in the Land of Midnight Sun?, Paul travelled from his Norfolk home as far north as the Outer Hebrides, before completing a 2-week run of shows at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Known for their harmonies, The Browns have played on stage at festivals around Norfolk, including Deepdale Festival in North Norfolk, Cromer?s Folk on the Pier, and King?s Lynn?s Folk in the Town as well as festivals further afield such as Bedford River Festival. They have played live on West Norfolk Radio their first single was played on radio stations and shows around the UK. They have taken the stage at Cambridge Folk Club, Bury Folk Collective and at venues in the city of Norwich and across Norfolk and Suffolk.

Their first album, ?Still the Same,? was released in April 2023. You can find out more about the album and upcoming gigs and events on their website
