Pervert Pictures presents an evening of death, decay and desire with three films on the subject of necrophilia.
DEAD. TISSUE. LOVE (2017)
This short documentary by Natasha Austin-Green is a sympathetic exploration of a young woman's experience of being a necrophiliac who cannot fulfill her desires. Unlike the feature, Nekromantik, it contains no corpses, blood or sex and instead focuses on abstract and sensual imagery while a female voice recounts her story.
SURPRISE SHORT
This short film is a raw and especially gory depiction of necrophilia. Think buckets of blood and organs. 'Nekro' without the '-romantik'.
NEKROMANTIK (1988)
A crime scene cleaner brings home a rotting corpse for him and his wife to have sex with but goes on a downward spiral when he finds out his wife prefers the corpse over him. Banned by multiple countries on its release, it was only classified, uncut, by the BBFC in 2014. With little to no budget, Jörg Buttgereit created a cult classic, blending multiple genres into an obscene and visually impressive work, despite the lack of expensive special effects, and is a testament to DIY film.

CONTENT WARNINGS (SPOILERS)
Nekromantik contains a scene in which a rabbit is killed and prepared (skinned) to be eaten. This is real and may be distressing to some viewers. The rabbit was not killed for the film and instead, the scene depicts a real farmer. The scene takes place 15 minutes in and is interspersed with different footage until 19 minutes in. The rabbit scene reappears at 1:06:00 in reverse and is interspersed again for two minutes.
The surprise short film contains two fictionalized autopsies (graphic) and a man penetrating a woman's corpse with both a knife and his penis (implied). The sexual scenes begin at 19 minutes in and last about seven minutes.
