SCREENWRITING & DIRECTING WITH CATHY BRADY - Gain insight into the world of film and television directing in this presentation for young filmmakers.

Cathy?s lauded debut feature Wildfire premiered at the 2020 Toronto Film Festival and played in competition at LFF, where Cathy was awarded the prestigious IWC Film Bursary. The film was also awarded the BIFA for Best Debut Screenwriter. In 2011, Brady directed the BIFA nominated short Rough Skin starring Vicky McClure as part of Channel 4's Coming Up scheme. Her short film, Wasted, competed at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2013. In the same year, Brady was named one of Screen Daily?s ?Stars of Tomorrow?. In 2014, Brady directed on the BAFTA-nominated drama-thriller series Glue and followed that up with comedy series Can?t Cope/Won?t Cope for BBC Three. She is currently in production on Block 2 of limited series The Doll Factory for Paramount+.
