The Rag & Moan Men have been playing acoustic blues, folk, Roots, Americana, and a little bit of jazz for over 15 years. Entertaining audiences in pubs, clubs, wine bars, festivals and theatres across the south of England

The name comes from ?Rag?, as in Ragtime and ?Moan? as in Wild Ox Moan, Black Snake Moan, Clarksdale Moan and all those other early blues classics. The repertoire extends well beyond the music of the 20s and 30s to encompass the whole blues diaspora, to include plenty of songs written by the band plus the likes of JJ Cale, Little Feat and Van Morrison.

A hidden gem just outside Reading Town Centre. We also serve food and have live music every Friday and Saturday, and a Jam Night every Wednesday.
