SCARLET JOY (Lincoln) Grunge/Alt Rock

Rich in raw emotion Scarlet Joy have a sound that cuts deep. This is an act that knows how to captivate with their distinctive style and impassioned live performance. Brought together by vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Sofire Woodcraft, this power trio was formed in 2019.
With a list of influences that runs from PJ Harvey to QOTSA, Nirvana to Nine Inch Nails, Scarlet Joy have forged a unique fusion that is both vulnerable and powerful, weaving together their haunting vocals, distorted guitars and fierce drums with intense sentiment. They have been bringing their exciting mix of potent grunge and emotive alternative rock to independent venues and grass roots festivals throughout the UK.
Scarlet Joy released their debut album ?Mourning Pages? in November 2022. The album lays bare the whole human condition, exploring themes of love, loss, hope and fate. It is available to stream now on all major platforms.

Bedsit are on a pilgrimage to channel the healing power of live music. Comprised of three veterans from Hull?s music scene plus their new protégé bassist, Bedsit pull us through the stages of crisis, grief and ecstasy as fluently as they do musical genres. Grounded in Grunge, ranging from Hardcore Punk to Shoegaze, Bedsit's sound is instinctive, but original.

An experimental attempt to integrate dark industrial Reznor-isms into 90s EpiHellFat-style punk rock. We're currently using programmed drums, synths, and samples on a backing track - think the presentation of NIN, Ministry, Depeche Mode, Skinny Puppy, Godflesh, or Big Black - but striving to maintain a foundation rooted in melodic punk rock - stylistically closer to bands like Alkaline Trio, AFI, Bad Religion, Green Day, Ignite, NOFX, Pennywise, or Rancid - although, inevitably, power ballads, heavy riffage, and odd times get in there occasionally. Currently tuned to D standard or occasionally drop C. Recordings also include scrap metal percussion, power tools, and sampled noise, in the vein of Throbbing Gristle, Nitzer Ebb, Einstürzende Neubauten, or even Slipknot. Metal bed frames, radiators, tables, candlesticks, metal shelving, other bits and pieces. Can't find a beer keg just yet...
