Black Country poets Steve Potrtinger and Emma Purshouse will be delighting audiences with their very own special brand of performances.
STEVE POTTINGER is an engaging and accomplished performer who has performed the length and breadth of the country. His work regularly appears online in CultureMatters, Yorkshire Bylines, and the Morning Star, and has won prizes or been commended in Bread & Roses, Prole, Poetry on Loan, Plough, Guernsey International, Arran, Verve, and Poets & Players poetry competitions. He?s also co-written three punk autobiographies and is the driving force behind Ignite Books. His sixth volume of poems, ?thirty-one small acts of love and resistance? published by Ignite Books, is out now.
EMMA PURSHOUSE is a free-lance writer and prize winning poet (including a 3 rd place in The National Poetry Prize). She has performed her work across the length and breadth of the UK. Emma was the first Poet Laureate for the City of Wolverhampton. Her novel is published by Ignite Books. Her poetry is published by Offa?s Press and Fair Acre
