Gorgar Records proudly presents the first annual ?Echoes in the Abyss?. Coinciding with the August Bank Holiday, EitA is a diverse showcase for some of the very best metal bands from across Ireland.
Hero In Error
Dublin?s Metal Hardcore outfit return to Belfast for the first time in 8 years for their only Northern Irish date of 2024.
Having announced their return in February with a new vocalist (Kaan Tasan / Heart Of A Coward) and a new EP in April 2024 (produced by Justin Hill of Sikth) which signifies their renewed vigour and a testament of what?s to come.
As a mainstay of the Irish metal scene from 2007, the band has supported the likes of Mastodon, Parkway Drive, Architects, and The Ghost Inside.

Nomadic Rituals
Returning for their first Northern Irish show of 2024, Nomadic Rituals are a 3-piece Doom and Sludge metal band from Northern Ireland.
Formed in 2012, the band has carved out a niche for themselves with their crushingly heavy sound, characterized by slow, monolithic riffs, dense atmospheres, and deeply resonant vocals. Known for their powerful live performances, Nomadic Rituals have supported bands such as Conan, Slomatics and Soothsayer.

Solothurn
Solothurn are an Alt-Metal band based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, who draw influence from bands like Alice in Chains, Deftones, Helmet, Tool and Soundgarden. Their music combines heavy, melodic riffs and hook-laden vocals with stoner rock grooves to create reverb-drenched walls of noise.
Emerging in November 2023 with their debut EP ?Servitude?, the band made their live debut in December 2023 and after only 4 gigs, reached the Final of Northern Ireland's 'Metal 2 The Masses' (Bloodstock) in May 2024. The band have set the bar high for moving forward, with Uber-Rock.co.uk describing their live performance as a "dominant and domineering exhibition". This is the bands last planned Northern Irish gig of 2024, so don?t miss them!

Cannibalised Seagulls
Cannibalised Seagulls are a heavy metal band based in Belfast. Formed in 2023, the band have been working closely with Neal Calderwood at Manor Park Studios to support their 3 singles to date, which has shown a strong progression from the outfit.
