The Sound of Movement are a unique and engaging collective of musicians and dancers who push the boundaries of contemporary jazz, classical, afrobeat and dance.
Their unique performance presents a thought-provoking journey through improvisation and melodicism rooted within contemporary jazz.
Formed in south-east London, the collective boasts a cross artform membership with successful members such as BBC young jazz musician of the year finalist Kielan Sheard, Jazzwise magazine?s ?Future Mover? Ruta Sipola and the National Youth Ballet performer and teacher Hannah George.
The band will play one set of original material from their debut album, then open up to a jam session where they will invite musicians from the audience to join them.
