WE?RE back at The British Legion for the Festival Comedy Night, and we have a great line up!
Headliner Steve Royle returns to Melbourne after an absence of FOUR years ? that was before the world changed with Covid and elections and everything!
Now famously a runner up on Britain?s got talent (2020) he is a comedian, radio presenter, actor, writer, husband and Dad
His many TV appearances have included ?Phoenix Nights?, ?Max & Paddy?, ?Behind The Scene?, ?That?s Entertainment?, ?Stand-up Britain?, ?Give Your Mate A Break?, ?The Afternoon Show?, ?Talk Of The North?, ?The Things You Do For Love?, and despite being one of the North West?s healthiest males, a medical insurance commercial for ?Medicash?.
Steve is also co-founder of the ?Slaughterhouse-Live? (?Laughter? with an ?S?) character comedy nights. The group regularly perform at ?The Comedy Store? and they were nominated in the ?best touring show? category at the Manchester Comedy Awards, losing out to Peter Kay!
Support Steve is Philip Simon an award-winning comedian known for a hilarious mix of brand-new jokes and witty audience chat. As well as regular appearances on TV and radio, Philip performs comedy all over the world. He won the 2023 Pegasus Comedy Best Compere award, came 2nd in the UK Pun Championships 2020. He has written material for Mock the Week and NewsJack, and his brilliant one-liners and off-the-cuff quips are sure to keep you entertained throughout.
Completing the line-up is engaging storyteller and naturally funny Nathan Eagle, with his funny observations and personal tales.
Compere for the night will be the very funny and highly talented Patrick Draper, who took the comedy world by storm after winning a string of new act competitions, with his deadpan delivery, witty one-liners, killer punch lines and ridiculous short stories.
