*PETER AND THE TEST TUBE BABIES *

https://www.facebook.com/PeterAndTheTestTubeBabies

Peter and the Test Tube Babies were first featured in Sounds magazine in July 1980, and after a John Peel Radio One session, made their vinyl debut on the Brighton compilation album Vaultage 78.

In recent years the band has played at festivals including the 11th Antifest in 2005. They also had two songs on the Oi! compilation Oi! the Album in that same year. They favoured absurd lyrics and strange titles, such as "The Queen Gives Good Blow Jobs".In 1982, they covered the chart-topping Gary Glitter hit "I'm the Leader of the Gang (I Am)" on their album Pissed and Proud.

*SICK ON THE BUS*

https://www.facebook.com/sickbus

Sick on the Bus formed in late 1990 from the then disbanded Varukers with Biff on guitar, Brian on bass, Kev on drums and Doug on vocals. 8 weeks after getting together the band did their first gig at the Vine in Newark with about 8 of their own songs and a few Damned and UK Subs covers to fill the set , but after only 4 songs they were told to turn down or get off, they did neither 10 minutes later the landlady was in tears the promoter was soaked in his own beer, the toilets were a foot deep in water, half the P.A was in the bands van and the police were on there way.

3 years of being fucked about by various drummers and singers ended up with biff taking on the vocals, Tony join the band on second guitar and eventually a full time drummer called Paul, so now with a solid line up the Bus hit the road again and recorded a new demo, a single and a 16 track cd, but before the cd could be mixed tragedy struck when Paul suddenly died from leukemia.

With Wag (ex Legion of Parasites) now on drums a new record out ?Suck on Sick on the Bus fuck heads? they started to get noticed by the music press with favorable reviews for live and studio work, a tour of Europe with Contempt soon followed (the promoter nearly sent them home after a party just 2 days into the tour). Next was the release of ?Punk Police? on Data Records which came out to more good reviews a US tour, more Euro dates and the remixing of the sold out self titled cd (now called Set Fire To Someone In Authority) that came out last year (2000) and the writing of some new material.

The year 2000 also saw another mad headlining tour of Europe and the band on tour in the UK as the main support to The Damned, they ended the year in negotiations with Go Kart Records and started 2001 with a 3 album deal with them.

*THE BACKSTREET ABORTIONS*

https://www.facebook.com/backstreetabortions

One Texas-born punk has had enough. Jesse Smith, and her UK band The Backstreet Abortions have something to say and they?re not mincing their words. Comprising Smith on lead vocals, Biff Smith (Jesse?s husband, also of The Varukers and Sick on the Bus) on guitar, Kevin Frost (also of Varukers) on drums and Les Dohery (The Varukers and Butcher Baby) on bass, their songs are powerful, catchy and meaningful. Sonically, they are reminiscent of The Ramones and Discharge but they cite influences as diverse as Prince, The Clash, Motörhead and Poison Idea.

*THE DECKCHAIRS*

https://www.facebook.com/TheDeckchairs

The Deckchairs, a punk rock band, have come to represent the rebellious and nonconformist mentality. Their music gives expression to the difficulties and challenges of daily existence, acting as a rallying cry for those who feel excluded and alienated. The Deckchairs aren't scared to question the existing quo and spark change when it comes to social and political issues; they address them head-on in their lyrics.

The Deckchairs are a tribute to the strength of uniqueness and self-expression in a society that frequently values conformity. Their music acts as a reminder that punk rock is a way of life rather than merely a genre. The Deckchairs are still making an impact on the punk rock scene with their unadulterated energy and unwavering attitude, inspiring both fans and a new generation of performers.
