Now in its 12th year JIW returns in 2025 to the Victorian Gothic mansion of YHA Haworth . Inside the building the sweeping staircase, ornate painted glass, richly carved oak and plaster friezes hint at the building?s opulent past.
The accommodation is stunning, as are the views.
All set in the picturesque worth valley, beautiful countryside walks and plenty of space to explore the wilderness without as well as within.
Full cost is £150 full board which covers all meals, accommodation, resources & teaching
YHA Haworth, housed within the impressive Longlands Hall, stands as a significant asset to the Worth Valley, serving as a welcoming hub for those drawn to the rugged beauty of the Pennines and the literary heritage of the Brontë sisters. This Victorian Gothic mansion, once a mill owner's family home, now provides a distinctive base for explorers, educational groups, and community gatherings, extending its purpose beyond simple accommodation.
Inside, the building's opulent past is palpable; the grand sweeping staircase invites contemplation, while the richly carved oak and ornate painted glass cast a warm, diffused light across the communal spaces.
