The Mojo Preachers are an experienced and established collective of musicians and writers that pride themselves in conjuring a melodiously intricate and authentic sound that while firmly rooted in the blues has its mixing spoons in many pots and is far from conventional. A Juke Box of easy listening they are not yet somehow, they make you feel right at home. Think Blade Runner meets Alice in Wonderland. The Mojos deal with dark matter, love, life, change and chance with a dash or daring and cheek, a band who as of yet, has not been pigeonholed into any genre. With two albums produced and one in the making, the Mojos have had a share of performing at the many Blues festivals and events that take place year-round across the U.K. and really are a band to be seen, heard and felt to fully appreciate. Out front is their singer-songwriter Sophie Lindsay, followed by Carleton Van-Selman on Keys, Andy Walker on guitar, Trev Turley on bass and Matt Furness on drums. The Mojos present an interesting sound to get your heart around, but once you do, you?ll be glad you did.
