The Belgrave House Band, on a mission to celebrate and honour that historic art form, the album, are back once again for edition No.9 to take on the multi-award winning, chart-topping, Doo Wopping, Soul, Reggae and Jazz masterpiece ?Back To Black?. Amy Winehouse?s second and most well-known album produced by the esteemed Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi with The Dap-Kings as backing band.
The Belgrave House Band?s lineup is decorated with a full horn section, backing vocalists and a rhythm section from Leeds? burgeoning Jazz scene, chosen to honour Amy?s live band circa 2007. The band will also be taking movement direction from prestigious choreographer, Ruby Portus, who will be closely studying the movement of not only Amy?s live performances but also the 60?s Girl Groups the album takes so much influence from.
After performing on the ?Frank? tour in 2019, London-based vocalist, Lydia Kotsirea will be gracing the stage front and centre to bring us her dynamic, delectable and powerful pipes.
