Join Louis Bingham and Griselda Sanderson for an evening of tunes and songs to welcome in the new season. An intimate concert in the beautiful acoustics of Littlehempston church featuring a feast of stringed instruments from across Europe, including hardanger, nyckelharpa, cittern and tambura.

Littlehempston Community Space serves as a vital focal point for its namesake village, extending its reach as a regional hub for cultural and social gatherings. Functioning as the village hall, it provides a dedicated setting for local initiatives and draws a wider audience for events that enrich the South Hams calendar.
Inside, the atmosphere is one of understated warmth and adaptability. The underfloor heating provides a gentle, consistent warmth, particularly welcome during cooler months, while the renowned acoustics lend a resonant clarity to spoken word and musical performances alike. The innovative "pews on wheels" allow for swift reconfiguration, transforming the space from a traditional assembly area to an open plan for dynamic activities.
Practically appointed, the venue accommodates up to 100 individuals, offering a dedicated car park for convenience. Essential amenities include a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge and cooker, alongside modern toilet facilities. Tables, tablecloths, and chairs are readily available, ensuring a seamless setup for diverse functions.
The calendar here reflects a broad spectrum of activity, from intimate concerts and musical rehearsals to regular exercise classes and private celebrations. It is a place where community life unfolds, and where artistic expression finds a welcoming stage.
