An Intimate Evening of Music and Anecdotes with Jethro Tull?s Martin Barre and Friends, Alex Hart, Alan Thomson and Dan Crisp.?
A stripped back set of music from Martins Jethro Tull back catalogue (45 years of music with over 60 million sales), as well as music highlights from Alex, Alan and Dan?s respective musical careers. Expect to be entertained, both musically and conversationally by some exceptionally talented musicians with some amazing stories to tell and amazing music to play.
Stroud Subscription Rooms is the leading venue in the Stroud District. Presenting a wide range of performances and events including music and gigs of all genres, theatre, comedy, dance and spoken word. We also hold a number of community based events such as The Stroud Book Festival, Stroud Wassail, Christmas Goodwill and offer classes & workshops and a range of exhibitions throughout the year.
The venue is also available to hire for performances and events, conferences and corporate events as well as private parties and wedding receptions.
Here are the Subscription Rooms we are home to Mr Twitchett's Coffee house and bar. The café is open Monday-Saturday: 10am-3.30pm serving a range of Jacket Potatoes, Toasties and Sandwiches and snacks for you to enjoy.
