Fusing the ritualistic, the reverent and the ridiculous, Ostara Circus Cabaret is a journey into the turn of the seasons, into our conscious and unconscious, and a joyous celebration of spring?s blossoming. In cabaret style with a series of separate acts. Expect to be led through this feast of circus performances by our charismatic and hilarious Master of Ceremonies, from fire breathing to aerial silks, belly dancing to clowning, expect to be wowed, shocked, amazed and entranced!
The organisers write: ?We open this space ritually with an offering to the land and there will be an interactive ritual that all audience members are invited to participate in during the evening. Everyone is welcome! This is a family-friendly event but not specifically designed for children; we hope that the varied and intriguing line up will appeal to people of any age.?
The three ticket prices are for everyone of any age ? please pay what you can and choose the one(s) that best suit you.
There will be a kids area on the floor with blankets and cushions at the front right, with chair seating for parents next to it. The wriggly ones can have a little spot to move around in while the parents can watch the show and the kids at the same time. If you want to sit in this area please email boxoffice@ashburtonarts.org.uk with ?kids area? in the subject. after you buy your ticket here and we will reserve you a seat in this area.
FOOD in the interval ? please book in advance
During the half time interlude an organic vegan stew will be served, and a simple kids option will be available. To avoid hunger and disappointment we advise buying your dinner with your ticket as we cannot guarantee how many extra portions there will be on the night!
