In 1953, Nigel Kneale's "The Quatermass Experiment" rocketed onto British TV screens, leaving an impact that can still be felt 70 years later. Sci-fi historian, broadcaster, actor, and comedian Toby Hadoke has spent several years applying his characteristically meticulous research to the Quatermass serials; "The Quatermass Experiment" will be the first of five books exploring theit conception, development, production, and cultural impact
There will be a Q&A between Toby and host Abby Cook (Blue Peter), plus an opportunity for questions from the audience and to purchase signed copies.
As 53two are a non-profit arts organisation and offering their space for free, all proceeds from tickets will go to support the venue.
