Karl Jenkins is one of the most popular living classical composers. His movie scores and hits such as Adiemus have brought his work to millions who might otherwise never listen to classical repertoire. Besides the tunes made famous on small and silver screen, Jenkins? music has a vast depth of emotional and spiritual expression. vOx perform motets from a range of his works including Adiemus, The Peacemakers, his Requiem and the ever-popular The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace.
vOx will perform in the Amphitheatre at Waterperry Gardens, a magical setting surrounded by beautiful trees. You are encouraged to bring a picnic to the concert for the interval. Included in the price of admission, the audience will have access during the interval to the 20 acres of gardens including classical borders, secret corners, modern planting and dappled paths along the River Thame.
