A Friday night of Balkan psychedelic ethno-fusion at Jamboree with the brilliant Gipsydelica combining originals and gems mined from the treasure trove of Balkan folk! Support comes from the ace acrobatic and circus-tinged bluegrass duo Crazy Pony!
Headliners Gipsydelica are a major force on East London's underground music scene, headlining at parties and festivals and well-known for their ability to whip any dancefloor into a frenzy. The band are led by the boundlessly exuberant Miroslav Morski, a hero in his homeland of Bulgaria where he fronts Django Ze. Morski's broad influences and understanding of multiple musical traditions make for a unique songwriter with an abundant imagination, his band a real power trio of players whose roots run deep, and vision runs wild.
In support, Crazy Pony are a unique and brilliant bluegrass duo - a crossover between music, circus and comedy, marrying virtuosic banjo picking and charming bass with sweet harmonies, and throwing in acrobatics, contortion and further surprises.
Jamboree is a grass-roots world music venue and bar hosting Folk, Blues, Americana, Celtic, Mediterranean, Eastern, European, GypsyPunk and Old Time Jazz!
Jamboree is back with a POP-UP adventure in a different venue in Limehouse from December 1st!
