Tawanda creatively fuses his Zimbabwean inspirations with elements of funk and jazz. As a solo artist, he plays the saxophone, marimba, mbira, and incorporate vocals to create a dynamic and soulful performance. When performing with his three-piece band, they bring an energetic and harmonious blend of Zimbabwean and African traditional music enriched with vibrant funk and jazz influences. Tawanda's aim is to connect deeply with audiences through rhythm, melody, and storytelling rooted in cultural heritage.
