Palm Beat Club brings the global beat underground to Canary Wharf, led by acclaimed trumpeter and DJ Jay Phelps. A regular on Jazz FM and Worldwide FM, Jay blends over two decades of musical craft into a genre-spanning set. Think Future Beats, Afro House, Amapiano, Baile Funk and Soulful House, all layered with his signature live trumpet lines.
With roots in jazz and a foot firmly in the club scene, Jay?s sound has evolved through collaborations with Wizkid, Amy Winehouse and Wynton Marsalis. His DJ sets balance tight production with warm brass textures, creating a sound that?s both technically sharp and rhythmically rich.
He?s also the founder of SoulEndvr, a music casting agency whose work spans Netflix, HBO, Amazon Prime and the BBC. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, Jay builds connections between scenes, sounds and cities.
