Marilla Homes is a force of nature. A unique voice, warm and silvery, with an incredible ability to perform across genres.
Marilla is a woman of many talents. She is a classically trained singer, teacher and performer (MMusPerf), who loves performing across a range of genres, including folk, jazz, opera, oratoria and music theatre, and also writes her own songs and creates vocal improvisations. She is half of acapella duo Steel Songbirds, lead singer with Marilla Homes and the Housemen, and regular collaborator with Andrew Clermont?s International Supper Club.
She has sung with Victorian Opera, Melbourne City Opera, Eastern Metropolitan Opera, Diamond Valley Singers, Melbourne Capella, Miscellany Ensemble, Preston Symphony Orchestra, and many others.
