Noel McCalla, praised by Blues & Soul Magazine as ?one of Britain?s best soul singers?, made his mark with the pioneering jazz-funk outfit Morrissey-Mullen and spent nearly 20 years as lead vocalist with Manfred Mann?s Earth Band. His voice brings sincerity and soul to classics like ?My Cherie Amour?, ?Lately? and ?Isn?t She Lovely?.
Derek Nash, a long-standing member of Jools Holland?s Rhythm & Blues Orchestra and the Ronnie Scott?s Blues Explosion, brings deep musical pedigree and command to the stage. With multiple British Jazz Awards under his belt and a list of collaborators that includes Gregory Porter, Chaka Khan, David Sanborn, Eric Clapton and Amy Winehouse, Nash brings Stevie?s harmonic textures and brass arrangements to life with clarity and respect.
Backed by a world-class band, the show covers material from Songs in the Key of Life, Innervisions, Hotter Than July and beyond.
