A Wednesday night of urban and rural Greek folk music at Jamboree! Musicians from Zeeya, Rebetiko Carnival and Yeden, songs will transport us to an evening at the taverna, an afternoon in the village square and maybe even, for a moment or two, a night at a panigíri (festival).
This project is a collaboration of musicians who love Mediterranean and Balkan music, and try to bring a new energy to it here in London. If you are leftover in the city for this scorching July, come over for a small taste of Greek summer to treat the nostalgia.
Jamboree food option: Our ?Zer? kitchen is open from 5pm serving delicious Middle Eastern fusion food for you to enjoy a pre-gig meal/snack if you wish!
Jamboree is a grass-roots world music venue and bar hosting Folk, Blues, Americana, Celtic, Mediterranean, Eastern, European, GypsyPunk and Old Time Jazz!
Jamboree is back with a POP-UP adventure in a different venue in Limehouse from December 1st!
