Saturday night at Jamboree with renowned jazz, afrobeat, dance and avant-gardé musician Bukky Leo and his Band.
Headliner Bukky grew up in Lagos Nigeria, where he was spotted practising his first saxophone by the original afro-beat drummer Tony Allen. He went on to play with the great Fela Kuti, developing his distinct style of jazz and afrobeat, and became one of the forerunners of the acid jazz scene.
Jamboree food option: Our ?Zer? kitchen is open from 5pm serving delicious Middle Eastern fusion food for you to enjoy a pre-gig meal/snack if you wish!
Jamboree is a grass-roots world music venue and bar hosting Folk, Blues, Americana, Celtic, Mediterranean, Eastern, European, GypsyPunk and Old Time Jazz!
Jamboree is back with a POP-UP adventure in a different venue in Limehouse from December 1st!
