The Ohlson Family Roadshow bring their magical take on jazz to Jamboree, playing a unique blend of traditional jazz styles and early American blues and folk.
The Ohlson Family Roadshow is an American Jazz band based out of New Orleans, Louisiana. With origins in New York State, the band is led by Kyle Ohlson and has strong roots in the folk musics of the United States. Mr. Ohlson has himself made appearances at The Buskers World Cup in South Korea, The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, the National Jug Band Jubilee, as well as the renowned French Quarter Festival in New Orleans.
With significant experience in street performing (busking), the sound of the band is a unique blend of traditional jazz styles and early American blues and folk. Outside of his upbringing in the United States, Mr. Ohlson?s time living in Asia and the Caribbean has had a significant impact on the music of the band. Summer 2025 will be The Ohlson Family Roadshow?s first official European Tour.
Jamboree food option: Our ?Zer? kitchen is open from 5pm serving delicious Middle Eastern fusion food for you to enjoy a pre-gig meal/snack if you wish!
Jamboree is a grass-roots world music venue and bar hosting Folk, Blues, Americana, Celtic, Mediterranean, Eastern, European, GypsyPunk and Old Time Jazz!
Jamboree is back with a POP-UP adventure in a different venue in Limehouse from December 1st!
