A sweet Wednesday night of acoustic singer-songwriter soul and folk at Jamboree with the Leo Baby duo celebrating the release of their debut EP, plus a solo set from Kat Abel.
Leo and Kat first met at a festival a couple of years ago, sharing songs late into the night around a campfire. Since then, they've become like a musical family, building creative friendships, like cosmic songwriting siblings, rooted in a shared love of soul, folk, and honest songwriting.
Acoustic duo Leo Baby come together for a special duo tour to celebrate the release of their debut EP ? a heartfelt collection of songs recorded in a quiet countryside studio. The EP captures that golden in-between ? uplifting yet emotional, familiar yet fresh. Having released a string of well-loved singles. "This tour is an offering, not of spectacle, but of intimacy and truth, where the quiet carries just as much weight as the sound. No big-band bravado, just two voices, guitar, keys, and vocal harmonies in deep dialogue, wrapped in acoustic warmth.
In support, Kat Abel of the band plays her own solo set, full of raw, honest reflections on life, love and self-discovery.
Jamboree food option: Our ?Zer? kitchen is open from 5pm serving delicious Middle Eastern fusion food for you to enjoy a meal/snack if you wish!
Jamboree is a grass-roots world music venue and bar hosting Folk, Blues, Americana, Celtic, Mediterranean, Eastern, European, GypsyPunk and Old Time Jazz!
Jamboree is back with a POP-UP adventure in a different venue in Limehouse from December 1st!
