Poetry Mondays -Songs for the Wounded and the Unwanted Event Title Pic

Description

This month Poetry Mondays sides with the marginalised, with the unwanted, with those declared an economic burden, with the victims of violence, with the weak, with the weird and uncelebrated, with the losers of war and history, with the soulful carriers of trauma, with the brave persisters. We are a community who celebrates difference, who knows that true poetry arises from the cracks and the crevices. For a more inclusive, peaceful and poetical England we celebrate this night of poetry and song in favour of the unwanted and the wounded.
With special guests Igloo Hearts and many of the most interesting voices of the London poetry and alternative roots singer-songwriters.
Hosted by Gibraltarian poet Gabriel Moreno who also celebrates the release of his first music and poetry album, 'Letters to Miranda."
