CASTING FOR FILM AND TV - The workshop will cater for emerging actors with all levels of experience, allowing participants to learn more about the casting process and develop audition technique.

Amy was an actress for 8 years before moving into casting in 2019. Working initially in London, she worked as an assistant, then associate on multiple commercials and feature films as well as casting theatre in her own right. Amy joined the Casting Director's Guild as a probationary member in 2021 and has been working with Carla and the team since 2023. Notable projects as Casting Director include Pickle Storm, The Importance of Being Earnest and The Shape of Things. As Associate, she has recently worked on Dalgliesh, How To Get To Heaven From Belfast and Trespasses.

This will be an informal casting workshop, open to actors of all levels. Participants will choose a monologue from any stage or screenplay which you will perform on the day a number of times, receiving detailed, constructive notes. There will also be time set aside at the end of the session to ask questions about the casting process.

Ages: 16-25 / Duration: 120 mins.

Start Time: 11.00am (Exit Time: 1.00pm).
