Golden Globe winner and two-time Academy Award nominee Dean DeBlois is best known as the writer, director, and executive producer of the How to Train Your Dragon trilogy, one of the most successful and beloved animated franchises in film history. He most recently wrote and directed the live-action adaptation for Universal, expanding the cinematic world he helped create. Earlier in his career, DeBlois partnered with Chris Sanders to write and direct Disney?s Lilo & Stitch after serving as co-head of story on Mulan. Beyond animation, he has developed live-action projects for Disney and Universal and directed numerous acclaimed music films and documentaries.
