Come along and join in the fun as the local community pantomimers present: RAB MCHOOD AND HIS BANDY MEN!

In the dark depths of Wilkies Wood live a band of notorious outlaws led by the fearless golfer Big Rab McHood.

Into their lair stumble Dame Delight and Mystic Marion, two hopeless bakers aiming to corner the market in artisan bakeology.

The evening follows the tale of Big Rab and the Bandy men as they plan to steal a large consignment of gold. The plot thickens when the dastardly Sheriff Cardygram of Nastygram and his Dusty sidekick overhear their plans and action a scheme to rob the robbers of their robbery.

We follow the twists and turns of treachery, love, animal communication, mystical fairies, squabbling Royals, wandering mistrals, Friar Tuck and the Band of Outlaws as they weave their merry way to utter confusion saved only by the inspiration to turn to rewilding to save the day.

Sit back, "boo", "hiss" and join in the fun with a good old singalong!

The cool, smooth touch of its inspiring stone masonry contrasts with the warm light filtering through a dramatic stained-glass window, creating a space that feels both substantial and uplifting. Its renowned acoustics ensure clarity and depth for every performance.

Practical considerations are well-addressed, with wheelchair access facilitated via a dedicated side entrance adjacent to the Phoenix Café. This on-site café provides refreshments, and ample parking is available for visitors attending events.

Throughout the year, the venue hosts a broad spectrum of artistic and community gatherings, from contemporary and traditional music concerts to classical performances, touring theatre productions, dance, film screenings, and educational workshops.
