Backed by a full 11-piece band, the performance combines musical precision with visual flair. Every song is delivered with attention to phrasing, tone and rhythm - from the rock?n?roll drive of ?Blue Suede Shoes? and ?Jailhouse Rock? to the anthemic sweep of ?Suspicious Minds? and ?Viva Las Vegas?.
Ivor Potter?s stage presence, expressive phrasing and deep respect for Presley?s legacy give each number authenticity without imitation. Together with his seasoned musicians, he recreates the sound of Elvis?s original arrangements, balancing brass, rhythm section and backing vocals to evoke the power of a true Vegas band.
