'Rock Vixen' comes to Oundle -
A brand new theatre show packed with rock anthems, led by three powerhouse female performers and a full band ready to rock your world!
This party night will be held in the larger Queen Victoria Hall in Oundle and tickets are ?20 with a concession for under 18's at a price of ?4.50 plus booking fee. Under 18's do need to be accompanied by an adult please.
All your favourite songs, plus a few surprises from the 70s to the present day, with killer harmonies and video projections making it an unforgettable theatrical experience. Founded in Lincolnshire in 2017 by musicians Martin Nicholls and Sharon Cannings, they had the burning desire to scale up their small but successful Rock Vixen brand into a full scale show. They had an ambition to bring the very best in rock to theatres up and down the country, with a theatrical flair that goes beyond your typical rock tribute. So in 2025 Rock Vixen, The Theatre Show was born. Epic, tailor made video projections and a seven piece live band breathing new life into the songs you know and love, and perhaps a few rarely heard gems that might become your new favourites!
The Queen Victoria Hall, situated on West Street, stands as a testament to Oundle's enduring community spirit, a public hall established to honour Queen Victoria's legacy. Administered by Oundle Town Council as a registered charity, its purpose remains steadfast: to provide a versatile space for the people of Oundle and the surrounding district, serving as a vital local and regional event hub.
Within its walls, a sense of history permeates the air, subtly mingling with the scent of polished wood and the quiet rustle of velvet stage curtains. The main hall, equipped with a comprehensive lighting system, offers a refined yet adaptable setting, capable of transforming from a formal presentation space to a vibrant performance arena.
Practical considerations are well-addressed, ensuring broad access. The venue offers wheelchair accessibility via a dedicated side entrance and is fitted with a hearing loop system. A licensed bar is available for events, and baby changing facilities are conveniently located within the disabled toilet. While the hall itself does not provide parking, several public car parks are within a short walk.
Throughout the year, the Queen Victoria Hall hosts a diverse calendar of engagements. Its stage welcomes theatrical productions and musical performances, while the main space accommodates exhibitions, local markets, and private functions. From community gatherings to larger public shows, the hall consistently delivers a varied programme for all interests.
