On Saturday December 6th we welcome to Jamboree The Dyslexic Bazz Jand, a Belgium-based band visiting London for the weekend! They perform a variety of New Orleans inspired music ranging from jazz and spirituals to brass band funky numbers, and exude the typical "joie de vivre" so characteristic of the city.
The Dyslexic Bazz Jand are led by the fantastic Stephen Scharmin - the Van Damme of rhythm - on? drums. Stephen lived in New Orleans until he was thrown out for playing too funky for the authorities! On the trombone and vocals is the fabulous Alice 'la tigre' Riberolles - a phenomenal French musician living and working in Brussels. On the bass is the multi-instrumentalist and singer Felix van de Pop, whose flashing eyes and smooth skills are... lets say... um... sensational. And they are joined by London-based Jimbino Vegan. Together they will deliver a beautiful and powerful message of joy that your body and soul won't soon forget!
Jamboree food option: Our ?Zer? kitchen is open from 5pm serving delicious Middle Eastern fusion food for you to enjoy a meal/snack if you wish!
Jamboree is a grass-roots world music venue and bar hosting Folk, Blues, Americana, Celtic, Mediterranean, Eastern, European, GypsyPunk and Old Time Jazz!
Jamboree is back with a POP-UP adventure in a different venue in Limehouse from December 1st!
