Born in the mid-1970s from the creative spark of brothers Johnnie and Keith Wilder, Heatwave became a landmark group in the evolution of funk, disco and soul. With songwriter Rod Temperton, whose later work includes Michael Jackson?s ?Thriller? and ?Rock With You?, their studio craft and musicianship set a new benchmark for the genre.
Their catalogue remains central to collections worldwide. Key tracks include ?Always and Forever?, ?Boogie Nights? and ?The Groove Line?.
