The Wandering Hearts ? the award-winning Americana band from the UK ? are set to embark on a special tour in 2026 celebrating one of the most iconic records of all time.
Following the success of their album reinterpreting D?j? Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young earlier this year, the band will perform seminal 1970 record in full, as well as a set of timeless classics from era-defining artists including The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, The Hollies and America.
Released in March 1970, D?j? Vu is widely considered a cornerstone of modern folk-rock, blending intricate harmonies, socially conscious songwriting and genre-defining musicianship. Featuring songs such as Teach Your Children, Helpless and Our House, the album cemented Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young as one of the most influential supergroups of their era, shaping the sound of a generation.
The Wandering Hearts? reinterpretation of D?j? Vu was released earlier this year, with MOJO hailing it as ?A tribute crafted with deep love and respect? an impressively stately tilt at the original?, and Shindig! Magazine stating ?Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young?s 1970 album D?j? Vu possesses such an iconic status that it takes some artistic ability and daring to reinvent the album. Stroud Subscription Rooms is the leading venue in the Stroud District. Presenting a wide range of performances and events including music and gigs of all genres, theatre, comedy, dance and spoken word. We also hold a number of community based events such as The Stroud Book Festival, Stroud Wassail, Christmas Goodwill and offer classes & workshops and a range of exhibitions throughout the year.
The venue is also available to hire for performances and events, conferences and corporate events as well as private parties and wedding receptions.
Here are the Subscription Rooms we are home to Mr Twitchett's Coffee house and bar. The café is open Monday-Saturday: 10am-3.30pm serving a range of Jacket Potatoes, Toasties and Sandwiches and snacks for you to enjoy.
